Mallee Estate Celebrates Success at the 2026 Riverland Wine Show

Mallee Estate Wines has once again showcased its excellence in winemaking, taking home multiple prestigious awards at the 2026 Riverland Wine Show.

We were incredibly proud to receive the Riverland Councils Trophy for Most Successful Riverland Exhibitor, alongside four gold medals for our 2025 Kati Allo Assyrtiko, 2026 Kati Allo Vermentino, 2024 Kati Allo Albarino and 10-Year-Old Reserve Tawny, all scoring 95 points or higher.

Our 2026 Kati Allo Vermentino was a standout, receiving two additional trophies for Best Organic/Biodynamic Wine in Show and Best Other White or Blend.

Owner and winemaker Jim Markeas expressed his pride in the results, highlighting the growing recognition of Mediterranean grape varieties and their suitability to the Riverland’s warm, dry climate.

These achievements reflect our continued passion for producing exceptional, estate-grown wines and showcasing the very best of the Riverland.
